Common questions
What exactly does the offer gap tell me?
For any city and salary, it calculates the total monthly cost of a "comfortable" lifestyle (rent, groceries, transport, utilities, and more) and tells you whether the offer salary covers it — and by how much. If the gap is −$800/mo, you know you need to either raise the offer or adjust the relocation package before the candidate figures it out themselves.
What does the candidate see when I share a report?
They see a clean, professional page with your company name at the top, the city's cost breakdown across three tiers (bare minimum, comfortable, luxury), an income assessment based on the offer, and a brief market context paragraph. No login required, no Livability branding in the way — just the data.
What data powers the cost estimates?
Each analysis uses Claude (Anthropic's AI) with live web search to pull current rental listings, utility rates, and cost indices for the specific city — not stale national averages. Results are cached for 30 days, so repeat queries for the same city are instant.
How is this different from the free plan?
The free plan gives you 20 analyses per month and basic single-city analysis. The Recruiter plan removes the monthly cap, adds bulk compare (5 cities at once), offer gap analysis, white-label share pages, and lets you set your company name on all reports.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account settings at any time. You keep access through the end of your billing period.
